The Townhouse Chester is beautifully decorated, blending luxurious materials with the history of its Georgian architecture. The accessible layout made it easy for me to navigate around the hotel, enhancing my overall experience during my stay.
Limited parking options might pose an inconvenience.

The bar area shines with 24/7 access and comfy seating, perfect for chilling out or grabbing a drink after a day exploring the town. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a wide variety of freshly made options, catering to all tastes and leaving you well-equipped for a day of adventures.
Accessing the bedrooms requires navigating steep staircases, which can be a challenge, especially after a long day or with heavy luggage. Parking is limited, leading many guests to the nearby multi-story car park, where the discount card sometimes isn't effective, potentially adding unexpected costs to your stay. While the hotel is generally clean, there were hints that the decor and facilities feel a bit past their prime, pointing towards ongoing refurbishment that seems necessary.

The hotel had a nice vibe, and the
location was really central to explore the town. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which was a huge plus. However, the family room in the attic lacked proper ventilation, making it quite uncomfortable for sleeping.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was comfortable, but we found it a bit too warm and the window wouldn't open properly, which affected our sleep. it's a convenient spot for a family getaway, but minor adjustments could enhance the experience.

Fantastic location and friendly service!
Our stay in the Standard Double Room was delightful, with the hotel's prime location just a short walk from Chester's vibrant city center and picturesque riverfront. The staff were incredibly welcoming and truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, making our time there memorable. Breakfast was a highlight as it featured a variety of freshly prepared options, perfect to kick start our day. the bathroom facilities could use a little more space for comfort.

I booked last minute and was impressed with the friendly service when the staff helped find accessible rooms with a walk-in shower for my senior companion. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing, and I appreciated the lovely breakfast delivered right to our room. The only minor issue was the creaky stairs, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊
